About turaco nature travel Your safari will be completely exclusive for you, your family and/or the friends with whom you choose to travel turaco nature travel is not a tour operator, it is a safari designer. Claude Melde, owner and Director at turaco nature travel, acts as safari guide for more than 30 years. Since 1995 we propose, under the name of turaco nature travel, custom-made safari itineraries for individuals and very small groups according to the following principles: • Small groups of 1 to 5 or 6 people maximum (We do not mix groups unless specifically requested) • All itineraries are individually designed on travel dates to be agreed upon • At least one meeting with all participants is held before the trip to ensure a good understanding of interests • As per the client’s request, the safari can be conducted with a turaco nature travel guide or with a local guide only • Typical trip duration: 7-13 days • Travel report with pictures is delivered to all participants shortly after return (on safaris accompanied by a turaco nature travel guide) • There is no limitation to the possible destinations, as long as the main focus of the itineraries lies on observation and photographing/filming of wildlife and natural habitat Special trips for birders can also be organized!
